Terms of service
What ProperSites is
ProperSites is Mathyo Denha's web studio. I design, build, and optionally host websites for small businesses. By requesting a build, paying for one, or using this site, you agree to these terms.
Builds and payment
- A website build is quoted up front and paid as a one-time fee, processed by Stripe.
- Work starts after payment and after you've sent the content we agree the site needs.
- Revisions included in your quote are part of the build. Work beyond the agreed scope is quoted separately before I do it.
- If I can't deliver what we agreed, you get your money back. If you cancel mid-build, I'll bill fairly for the work done and refund the rest.
Hosting
- Hosting is an optional monthly service: it keeps your site online, secured with SSL, and covers small content updates.
- No lock-in. Cancel any time and hosting simply stops at the end of the period you've paid for.
- If you leave, I hand over your site files so you can host anywhere.
Ownership
- Once a build is paid for in full, the website is yours: the pages, the design, and the content.
- Your business name, logo, text, and images stay yours at all times. You confirm you have the right to use what you give me.
- I may show finished work in my portfolio. If you'd rather I didn't show yours, tell me and I won't.
What I expect from you
- Content that's yours to use and legal to publish.
- No sites for scams, malware, or anything illegal. I'll decline that work.
- Reasonably timely feedback during a build, so the project can actually finish.
The honest limits
This site and my services are provided as-is. I work carefully, but I can't guarantee a website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any particular business result. To the extent the law allows, my total liability for anything arising from a project is capped at the amount you paid me for it.
Where disputes go
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA. If we ever have a dispute, we'll try to resolve it by talking first; that has worked so far.
Changes
I may update these terms as the studio grows. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and changes never apply backwards to work already agreed.
